☀️About Me☀️

➺ You can call me Georgia, Matthew, or Sphinx!➺ The full list of my preferred pronouns can be found here or here➺ I’m a 31-year-old, nonbinary trans lady! I’m also bi/pan, arospec, and polyamorousThis is my personal blog, and this is my educational anti-transmisogyny blog➺ You’ll find all my opinions about the usual tumblr discourse under my Terms of Interaction (ToI)➺ I reclaim “queer”; filter the tag “q word” if you’re uncomfortable with this.Checking My Privilege:➺ White/gentile/not Romani or Indigenous, USAmerican, singlet, benefited by thin privilege➺ Intersex, transmisogyny-affected, disabled/cane-user, neurodivergent, abuse victimMy Triggers/Squicks/Blacklist:
➺ Any string of angry profanities directed at me
➺ Making fun of people who deliberately choose to avoid (using) profane language➺ Mentions of violence in schools (especially teacher-on-student or vice versa)➺ Anything that could be a trigger for ommetaphobia (especially closeups or exaggerations of eyes, or eyes that are rolled to one side)➺ Referring to me as a male/female, girl, or man. I’m fine with most other gendered language (e.g boy, guy, woman, sir/ma’am)

☀️Terms of Interaction☀️

And some of my opinions

• Important •

Do not interact with me if you are or support those who are:
Alt-right, a neo-n*zi/fascist, a Tr*mp supporter, a capitalist or conservative of any stripe, a white nationalist, an anti-SJW/anti-feminist, or anti-antifa
An Islamo-misiac, an antisemite, antiBlack/anti-BLM, support “Blue/All Lives Matter,” or are otherwise a racist
A p*do or p*do/rape/abuse apologist
Ableist
Pro-ana, anti-body positivity, support thinspo/fitspo, or are otherwise fat-misic
Against decriminalizing sex work, don’t support sex workers’ rights, are vehemently anti-kink, or are otherwise sex-negative (note: I mean in general, not sex-repulsed on an individual scale)
Transmisic/exorsexist, transmisogynistic, inter-misic, amisic, or otherwise LGBTQ+-misic
A believer in bad science (including belief in “pro-life” arguments, anti-vaccination arguments, climate change denial, evolution denial, or “brain sex”)
Someone who wants to send me something you think I’ll find offensive/bigoted/problematic for the sole purpose of offending or “triggering” me
Interaction from any of the above will result in a block 99% of the time. My posts are not, in any way, made for you. I tend to ignore anon hate unless I think it can be useful in making a point for those who will actually listen.*-misia/-misic/-misiac are alternative suffixes to -phobia/-phobic/-phobe which are more accurate and do not mischaracterize people with phobias as being hateful of or bigoted toward the subject of their phobia.

• Other Info •

Asking Questions & Making Requests:The primary purpose of this blog is to:
• Help coin new MOGAI terms
• Help design new pride flags
• Help locate specific terms, flags, or sets of pronouns
• Answer questions & offer advice relating to gender & orientation
I’m not an expert in any of these areas, of course; I’d just like to pitch in wherever I can.
I’m open to taking requests for aesthetic flags, themed flags, “joke” flags, combos (including “stacking” flags and “splicing” them), and attractional flags. The only stuff I won’t even consider is, of course, anything extremely gross or problematic (like flags with racist/transmisic implications or anything to do with “MAPs”).
I honestly don’t care if an asker is an obvious troll. I find the act of making flags and coining terms to be relaxing and fun. Again, as long as it’s not for something problematic (or something that makes me personally uncomfortable), I’ll take any request. If this makes you uncomfortable, please let me know.
A Few Disclaimers:
I have issues with memory and reading comprehension. Please be patient with me if I forget something, misunderstand you, or ask you to reword something.
I’m dyslexic and sometimes make peculiar grammatical & spelling errors. I appreciate having these pointed out to me as quickly as possible so I can edit them.I may come across as needlessly skeptical, overly-critical, or argumentative at times. This is because I have paranoid PD and sometimes don’t recognize how abrasive I’m being, but I appreciate being called out for it so I can take a step back and reassess my actions.Naturally, due to my PPD, I deal with a lot of paranoia. If you ask me a question about my personal life and I don’t feel comfortable sharing, please don’t take it personally or feel like you’ve done anything wrong. I’m working on being a more trusting person, but I need a little patience and understanding. My offline interactions with LGBTQ+ people, folks of other marginalized identities, and even other leftists in general are very limited due to where I live. Because of that, there are certain things I’m going to be very ignorant about, but I appreciate it when people take the time to call me out so I can learn and better educate myself. I’m definitely trying, but learning is a lifelong process.

All these labels were starting to feel a bit overwhelming to me, so I decided that I would just fully explain my experience with gender and how each label applies to me, solely for my own benefit. It’s very disjointed, but you can read it if you’re curious.

Sometimes I feel like my gender is more or less nonexistent until I decide to “look” at it [pensgender], but when I look at it, I don’t know what it’s supposed to be — just a vague idea — and trying to pinpoint it exactly can cause me a great deal of mental stress [genderinimicus]. I used to dislike calling myself a woman [distrigender] and, in general, I feel very disconnected from the concept of gender, though I think this is likely a combination of various factors — being sapphic, being intersex, growing up in an extremely transmisogynistic environment, possibly having ADHD, etc. [integender, nebulatrans, outergender]. Even so, I identify with a lot of different nonbinary terms as an attempt to determine and explain all these complicated feelings and make sense of my relationship to gender [gendereaux, genderhoarder/polygender] (although, for various reasons, I try to limit the total number of terms with which I identify [survival inventory]).I often refer to myself as a (nonbinary) trans woman [hotbar genders], although doing so sometimes feels like compromising my identity, making myself more palatable, more “digestible” for cis society. And that is certainly one of the reasons why I sometimes refer to myself this way — It’s just not worth being harassed by other trans and nonbinary people for being “too weird” or “making the community look bad.” But the other reason why I do it is because I guess I’m what you could call a “political trans woman”: I feel my experiences with gender (particularly experiences with patriarchal violence) have a lot in common with those of many women (particularly trans women). I may not identify entirely as a woman (at least not without the very important qualification of “nonbinary”), but transfeminism as a movement represents my interests, and although transfeminine nonwomen should absolutely be recognized by and prioritized in transfeminist activism, I personally don’t mind assuming the moniker “trans woman” as a way of representing my allyship. Woman-related is, I think, the best way to describe this.Beyond the politics, I feel essentially genderless, but there are gendered feelings in how I present [genderorchid, veneerian]: My gender is something I wear in both a literal and metaphorical sense [performagender, CINNgender], and that “costume” tends to be inspired by essential gender-nonconformity [formaregec] and aestheticism [aesthete, aetherdea, venebellent]. For me, gender is quite literally a dress-up game, and it’s for this reason that I have a lot of genders simultaneously which represent different aspects of who I am in different contexts [again, pensgender]. For example, when I consider my attraction to women, I feel like a nonbinary woman [violeqian], and when I consider my attraction to men, I feel proxvir (which together can be described as poudrettigender or pangaygender). Altogether, this can be summarized as briaxygender, which is what I’d say I identify as primarily, although my gender sort of has differing layers of complexity, with briaxygender being the most overly-simplified.For example, the “nonbinary” part of my nonbinary womanhood goes a little deeper: it’s a xenogendered experience, best explained through a comparison to colors and textures [syntharum]. It sometimes feels light, airy, and pastel, and sometimes dark, crowded, and neon [femdoire], and this tends to alternate based on what kind of mood episode I’m experiencing [polargender]. As my gender is heavily influenced by my presentation and vice versa, this fluidity also affects whether I feel more connected to tenderic expression or synthic expression.Additionally, my attraction to men does feel a bit more complicated than just “mlm”; I connect with the identity toric (nblm), and sometimes I wonder if I could possibly be nbwlm (nonbinary & fiagender, attracted to men). Given that it took me so long to feel comfortable with my own womanhood, after having identified as a gay man/mlm for so long, it’s difficult to tell the difference now between being transfeminine and gender-nonconforming [cusper]. Any connection I may feel to masculinity or maleness may simply come from having perceived myself as a man for so long [postmascuium]. But, on the other hand, the alienation I have always felt from my assigned gender may be the result of internalized perisexism [advenavir]. What I do know for certain is that my attraction to men feels “gay” in some way [remnocian], and I find “proxvir” (and man-related/helian) to be a comfortable descriptor for myself.I also experience another branch of xenogenders in the context of being near or interacting with my pets [petownic - catgender, chinchillagender, fancyratic, greentibarbic, albitibarbic, shepnoiric]. I feel like my gender takes on the traits of these animals when I’m near them, especially with regards to color. When I try to look beneath these layers of situational/presentational genders, I find nothing. No essentially gendered feeling, just a sort of ambivalent neutrality coupled with absolute liberation from the binary: “a blurry, cloudy, whimsical, free sense of gender” [genderfree, stellarian, transneutral]. Even so, (trans)femininity is particularly important to my sense of gender and, if anything, contributes to this sense of liberation (even if it is “genderless femininity” [lunarset/artemian]). This is likely one of the reasons why being trans is so important to me [transemphasis].Another experience of mine affected by my mood are my perceptions of masculinity and femininity. The combination of being a neurodivergent, intersex, sapphic trans woman makes it very difficult for me to fully understand these concepts and how I relate to them. As stated, femininity is important to my sense of liberation, but it can feel oppressively conformist at times (like I’m only performing femininity to be accepted as a woman), or feel like it’s caused by something beyond my control [interfemme]. This is why the concept of queer femininity [femme] is so important to me, but why my identity is somewhere beyond the categorizations of “masculine” or “feminine” [futch, futchgender, futchqueer]. It’s not just that my identity is in between or a mix of the two; it just can’t be defined in relation to those categories (without some element of essential queerness). For me, being futch is a way of incorporating the complexities of my identity and my rejection of the binary into the way I perform my gender (especially within the specific context of sapphic attraction).Even so, I do like to think of myself as an androgyne/transandrogynous. Seeing as I’m intersex, I would be considered androgynous regardless of how I identify, so embracing my androgyny feels like a powerful reclamation of that typecasting. It also feels like a good way of expressing my nonbinarity [laven], sapphic womanhood, and queer femininity (as femme doesn’t always/just mean feminine).

Butch and Fem(me) are not Lesbian-Exclusive Identities

(Sources mainly compiled from these two posts. I don’t agree with everything they say and I have a lot of issues with the person who provided sources on the first post, but I felt like giving credit where credit is due. This is a compilation of sources about the histories of these terms and how they’re used in different contexts. Read through and take from them what you will.)Here’s a carrd which compiles the history of these terms (and debunks the myth that they’re lesbian-exclusive) better than I can.
